140924-news-now-mccarthy-300GREEN BAY — One thing that hasn’t changed for the Chicago Bears under second-year head coach Marc Trestman is the defense’s ability to generate turnovers.

Rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller has three interceptions already, playing full-time now in place of the injured Charles Tillman, and the Bears also started last Monday night’s game with an interception returned for a TD by safety Ryan Mundy.

“Since I’ve been here we’ve talked about their ability to take away the football,” Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said on Wednesday. “That’s definitely part of their operation down there. The rookie Fuller looks like he’s been there for five years. It’s a group that’s always excelled at it, as far as punching it out, and that will be a focus for us.”
