Body parts and clothing were discovered along the shoreline of Queens, NY on Jan. 16, and police believe they may belong to Avonte Oquendo, an autistic teen who went missing in Oct. 2013 after running away from his school. His mom was understandably distressed, but is hopeful it’s not her son.
Human remains were discovered in Hermon A. MacNeil Park in College Point, Queens, and police revealed they might be the body of Avonte Oquendo, 14, a missing teen with autism who was last seen running out of his Long Island City, New York school at 12:45 p.m. local time on Oct. 4, 2013. We warn you, the police discoveries are gruesome.
