Did anyone else notice when John Ridley, last night’s Oscar winner for Best Adapted Screenplay, seemed to remember to thank everyone involved in 12 Years a Slave, except for the film’s director, Steve McQueen? While most of us brushed it off as as an innocent mistake — we all forget things in the heat of the moment, especially a moment as huge as winning an Academy Award — there is now speculation that this was a purposeful snub! Are John and Steve feuding?
